(DeutcheBrse: 2H0) Hilbroy Advisory Reports : Japanese stocks rebounded Monday, rising nearly 1 per cent after an early drop, as investor sentiment was boosted by gains in major Asian markets.The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average gained 97.33 points, or 0.92 per cent, to close at 10,624.09 while the broader Topix index was up 9.34 points, or 0.99 per cent, at 951.27. For the month, the Nikkei rose 3.77 per cent while the Topix was up 4.53 per cent.Tokyo stocks opened lower with exporters dragged down by a stronger yen, but both the Nikkei and the Topix recovered sharply in the afternoon as major Asian stock indices climbed.China's Shanghai Composite Index was up 0.71 per cent as of 1:45 pm (0545 GMT) while Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 0.78 per cent as of 12:30 pm (0430 GMT).The Japanese government said the nation's industrial production climbed a seasonally adjusted 2.4 per cent in January from the previous mon th, marking the third-consecutive monthly increase.While the figure was below the 3.8-per-cent rise forecast by economists in a survey by the Kyodo News agency, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said in a preliminary report that production 'continues to show an upward movement.'Despite the sharp stock rebound, investors were still concerned about ongoing political turmoil in the Middle East, especially in Libya, a major oil producer.On Sunday, Libyan leader Moamer Gaddafi insisted Libya's capital, Tripoli, remained under his control as his opponents took control of more Libyan cities.About Hilbroy Advisory Inc.Hilbroy Advisory Inc. is a Canadian based advisory and consultancy services company founded in 2000.
